CONGRATULATIONS CHRISTIE!!!!
Also, before I forget, I just want to make it public that my little sister, Christie, was accepted to Vassar. I am more proud of her than she knows, and I am looking forward to her joining me in the States in the fall, if not on campus. Fingers crossed!
Kyle is a 2010 Vassar College graduate from Nassau, Bahamas. He holds an AB in Chinese and History (Double Major), has studied abroad at the University of Bristol in the UK, and is currently hunting for the elusive job monster.
Kyle is a 2010 Vassar graduate who has been involved in the Vassar community in many ways since his freshman year, representing Vassar at the Consortium for Higher Learning and Success (CHAS) Conference at Williams College in Autumn 2006. He has served as Publicity Chair for the Caribbean Students' Alliance (CSA) in the 2007-8 school year, as well as the founder and President of the Multi-racial/Biracial Students' Association (MBSA).
He has been involved in Residential Life, serving as a Student Fellow in his sophomore year. He has a long history of involvement with athletics, playing rugby in his freshman year (accompanying them to his hometown of Nassau, Bahamas for their spring break tour) and rowing since his sophomore year, serving as captain during the 2009-2010 school year.
Before going abroad, he worked as a Multicultural Recruitment Intern at the Admissions Office and a drill instructor for 2nd year Chinese students.
Even though he's graduated, he'll still gladly talk about Vassar, if only to reminisce about the "good old days." If you have any questions at all, feel free to email Kyle at kylechea@gmail.com, and he'll be more than happy to respond.
